Problem

It’s hard to get life updates in friend groups.

Sometimes chats are filled with memes or random messages, and important things get missed.

Solution

Monthly friend newsletter.

Everyone fills out a form with their updates for the month. At the beginning of the next month, each person’s update is automatically emailed to everyone.

Overview of build

3 parts:

1. Airtable (form submission)
2. Zapier (sending email to everyone)
3. Gmail (monthly form submission requests)

1️⃣

Use Airtable to build the form and send everyone’s submission to yourself.

2️⃣

Use Zapier to forward the email sent to you to everyone else (remember to BCC for security).

3️⃣

Use Gmail to schedule monthly reminders with the Airtable form submission link.
